SoCalled Community is a community of like-minded people sharing common values and principles. We create a space where professionals and enthusiasts can collaboratively develop technology projects in an atmosphere of mutual respect and openness.

We start with projects in robotics, IoT, embedded systems, and modeling. But we are open to expanding topics. If you share our values and want to develop other areas in our community, let’s discuss!

Values reflect what we consider important in our work, while principles describe how we interact to achieve common goals. Together they help us make consistent decisions and create a comfortable environment for collaborative development.

Principles

Mindfulness — we understand goals and purposes when solving tasks.
Growth — we learn through practice, value determination and willingness to grow.
Trust — we trust participants with tasks and support them in execution.
Mutual Assistance — we help each other, share knowledge and experience.

Infrastructure

To organize our work we use:

Task Tracker for work planning and project management.
Git Repositories for storing code and documentation, working through branches and pull requests.
Commit Signing for ensuring license cleanliness through DCO.

Licenses

SoCalled Community uses open licenses for different types of materials:

Source Code is distributed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL-2.0). This license requires that modifications to source code remain open, while allowing integration with proprietary software.
Documentation and other creative materials (including this file) are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY-4.0). This license allows free use, distribution, and adaptation of materials with attribution requirement.

When participating in projects, ensure your materials comply with the chosen license. All contributors must sign commits (DCO), confirming their rights to contributed materials.
